The Mid-Ark extends the accessibility of Cord’s best-selling model to even more surfers, delivering the same speed and manoeuvrability with increased volume for even better paddle performance.
Mid-length surfboards are all about utilising volume to catch the most waves possible, and maximising performance to make the most of those waves. Whether you’re a shortboard surfer looking to make the most of more marginal conditions or a longboarder wanting a performance option in better waves, the Mid-Ark is an incredible all-rounder with a huge range.
Designed to get in early, go fast, and be surfed off the tail, the Mid-Ark features a twin fin set-up paired with four channels and a pin tail to direct water through the tail for optimal speed and predictable, reliable hold through turns. More foam up front and a slight beak to the nose allows for gentleman’s volume in a performance package, and will get you into waves nice and early.
The Mid-Ark goes great in anything from 3-6ft, so if you’re not slab hunting and you don’t need anything as serious as the Step-Ark, but want down the line speed and turning ability in everyday waves, then this is the Ark for you.
