A versatile Twin/2+1 fin set designed to deliver optimal performance on some of Cord’s best-selling models, offering drive, pivot and hold through a range of conditions.
An upright twin fin set with an optional above-average sized trailing fin, this set developed by head shaper Markie Lascelles with the team at Futures Fins can be run as a straight twin fin system in performance-shape channel bottom twins like the Ark and the Otter, or with the smaller centre fin as a 2+1 cluster in short hybrid/performance-fish shapes like the Swordfish.
The two side fins are large upright twin fins that offer great drive and stability but with a narrower tip for release through turns. The optional centre fin is a little larger than most trailer fins on the market so performance-wise the full set sits somewhere between a traditional 2+1 and a thruster. Whether run as a twinny or 2+1 these fins provide exceptional speed, hold, and maneuverability.
Tested and proven in a range of boards in waves ranging from small Cornish beach breaks to overhead slabs and reefs in Ireland and Indonesia, this fin set performs across a variety of Cord surfboard designs.
